How To Start On The Doorsteps Of Science
I pick up this quest from Regin in the Hotel Lobby of the Administrative District on Jarilo-VI. He is an eccentric scientist, and he needs someone to submit his thesis to the Ministry of Education for him. The quest only appears after you have landed on Jarilo-VI and met some of its residents, so if you are brand new, finish the early Trailblaze Mission first. Once you accept, head to the Ministry of Education members near the Neverwinter Workshop, also in the Administrative District. Talk to Manya. She will hit you with a random quiz question. Answer correctly, and Regin's thesis gets one step closer to approval.

You do not need to memorize the questions. Manya picks one at random, so just scan the table for a keyword like 'Limesteins', 'flower', or 'algae'.

The quest is a Daily Quest, so it refreshes alongside your other dailies. Knock it out while you are already in Belobog for other errands.

The answers are final. There is no hidden trick where the game changes the math. The only trick is that the questions make your brain do a double-take.
Why The Answers Work
A few of these questions are famous for stumping players, so let me break down the logic without spoiling the fun.
Prime numbers vs. natural numbers: Both sets are infinite. You can pair every natural number with a prime number in a one-to-one way, so they have the same cardinality. The answer is 'The same.'
The Limesteins' wheels: There are 42 cars and normally 4 wheels each, so 168 wheels total. The insurer counts 154 wheels, meaning 14 wheels are missing. Since each vandalized car is missing exactly one wheel, 14 cars were hit. The answer is fourteen.
First Snow, Summershade Bamboo, Ball Peony, Sunflower: These names are codes for numbers. The pattern is based on the Chinese characters for the flowers, but the short version is that the values add up to 162. I am not going to lie — I just trust the table on this one.
The thief and the liar: For the wheel thief, only the thief tells the truth. Jack says Chris did it. If Jack were the thief, his statement would be true, but then Chris would also be a thief — impossible. The logic leads to Eric. For the good man, bad man, and liar, Philip is the liar. The statements only line up that way.
The number puzzle: 1453 = 0, 1915 = 1, 2409 = 2, 6010 = 3, 9981 = 4. The answer is the number of closed loops in the digits. 8848 has two loops in the 8s and one in each 8? Actually, 8 has two loops, 8 has two loops, 4 has zero, 8 has two loops — total six. The answer is six.
The flower color game: Julian can see Hook and Luka both wearing white. Since there are only two white flowers, Julian knows his own flower must be purple. The answer is Julian.
The two doors: The silver door lies. If the gold door tells the truth, then the silver door's statement about what the gold door would say is false. So the treasure is behind the gold door. Open the gold gate.
The algae: If the algae doubles every day and fills the reservoir on day 30, then it must fill half on day 29. The answer is day twenty-nine.

It is not the flashiest daily, and it will not give you a mountain of Credits, but it is fast, reliable, and just weird enough to be memorable. Regin's thesis may be a lost cause, but your Daily Training does not have to be. Grab the answer, submit the paper, and get back to whatever galaxy-saving nonsense you were doing before.
